This is the is a VFX and editing project that was inspired by the spider punk character from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Taking inspiration from the mixed media effects and comic styling, I created a short segment of a music video recreating these effects.

I used a mixture of green screen footage, scanned drawings and Photoshop to create the base for the effects. Then using a combination of Premier Pro and After Effects I created the visual effects.

Highlights:

• Impact frames move between the two scenes and create a feeling of power from the transition in the song

• Keeping the effects and colours in harmony with the music intensity

• Landscape for a YouTube upload focus
