This showreel project features me playing the intro to the song Feel Good INC. - Gorillaz. This project focuses on combining 3D video effects, 3D models and 2D greenscreen video together, to create a music video intro.

The 3D render introduced in the second half of the video was built and rendered in Maya, with 2D integration in After Effects using 3D tracking.

Highlights:

• Combining various types of 2D and 3D video footage together

• Similar themes and ‘vibes’ to original video

• Smooth transitions between greenscreen footage and 3D render footage

• Attention to pacing: keeps to the slow progressive tempo of the song

Technical notes:

• Editing workflow: rough cut and timing in Premiere Pro → effects and motion in After Effects → final conform, sound mix, and export in Premiere Pro

• Integrated 3D render created in Maya 2026

• Export settings: H.264, 1080p at 30fps
